Marvel movies are getting better every year and they know this, so they don’t miss any effort in making a great film and that is the reason why from 2017 we are getting not one, not two but three movies per year!
The Marvel cinematic universe is expanding. Every movie has references about other characters, but the universe is not just expanding on the big screen, but Marvel also has television shows. These T.V. shows are really important as a lot of them have story lines connecting to the marvel movies. Like in current season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D the show is leading the viewers to Captain America: Civil War. The movies are fun and the stories are improving. But to capture a larger audience Marvel movies try not to go towards the darker side. Marvel’s Netflix series has done the job.
Marvel and Netflix joined together to make One of the finest shows. These shows have Great Story, Good dialogues, Great action and even a great cast. Come on now! I’ll explain these Epic shows and why you MUST NOT miss it!
Marvel’s Daredevil
20th Century’s Daredevil film of 2003 had given a bad name to the character as the movie was a disaster. Not many were excited when Marvel announced a Daredevil show after getting the movie rights back from 20th Century. However audiences were mesmerized by how mature the show was.The action feels very realistic and brutal , The character doesn’t have any fancy powers and Marvel has done justice to the character by giving the show a Dark tone. One character that you would never be able to forget after watching the show is Wilson Fisk , Played Beautifully by Vincent D’Onofrio . His character has a lot of Depth , a disturbing backstory and true villainous motives. Matt Murdock, along with his friend Foggy Nelson open a firm and their ambition is to keep their neighborhood safe. Matt soon realises that the challenges that lie ahead cannot be only solved by the law. Matt had an accident in his childhood which made him blind (kinda). Well he sees everything on fire! he was trained by a guy named Stick in martial arts, but Stick left Matt without completing his training. So Matt becomes a vigilante and tries to keep his corners clean. He ends up getting involved with a Guy name Wilson Fisk (Kingpin) which puts him in a great Danger. But promising to himself to protect the city, he continues to stop Fisk from destroying his neighborhood.
The show is filled with Easter eggs, frequently mentioning events from the MCU movies. Fans also liked Charlie Cox as Daredevil.All 13 episodes were released on 10th April 2015 , promoting marathon viewing. The show became so successful that after only 11 days from the release of season 1, Marvel announced Season 2. If that wasn’t enough to get the fans excited , Marvel also announced that Jon Bernthal will be playing an iconic character on screen – Punisher
The first Marvel-Netflix show Daredevil became popular among fans and also was critically appreciated. It has a great story and has been rated 8.9/10 on IMDB and 98% by critics on Rotten Tomatoes . The show will return with Season 2 this year on 18th march.

Marvel’s Jessica Jones
With the release of Marvel’s Daredevil people were excited and curious about what next would Marvel do. It was really unexpected that Marvel will release a show about a Female Superhero. Fans have complained that there were less female superheroes in the MCU. That is true. But there are many strong Women in MCU like Agent Carter, Agents Sharon Carter , Agent May , Hope Pym ,etc,etc…
Jessica Jones runs her private investigation firm. She had an accident in which her whole family died but she got some incredible powers. She is very powerful and can jump very high. Her past haunts her through out the series. A man named Kilgrave (Purple Man)who has the power to command people and make them do anything he wants. He made Jessica do bizarre things. Jessica however managed to get control over herself and became free of Kilgrave’s control. Kilgrave was hit by a bus and Jessica assumed that he was dead, but he comes back looking for her a year later.
This show also introduces Luke Cage , her love interest and Trish Walker (her best friend). All the 13 episodes were released on 20th November 2015. It became popular among fans and fans were satisfied as they were anxious about how this show will compete with Daredevil. it also has a rating of 8.9/10 on Imdb and 91% on Rotten Tomatoes. The cast consists of Krysten Ritter as Jessica and David Tennant as Kilgrave.
Luke Cage
Marvel’s Next Netflix show was announced to be Luke Cage. He is a guy (duh!) who has impenetrable skin and he is super strong, he got his powers in an experiment conducted on him.He runs away from the place of experiment and is trying to live a normal life. He was the part of the cast in Jessica Jones where he plays her love interest. The villain in this show is confirmed to be Cottonmouth. Mike Colter who plays Luke Cage was spotted filming in the month of November. There are rumors that he will have a cameo in the upcoming second season of Marvel’ Daredevil. The show will probably get released in the same month as of Marvel’s Jessica Jones.

Iron Fist or Punisher
Iron fist is a trained in martial arts and wielder of a mystic force. Iron Fist was decided to be released after the three character shows and then the next show would be Marvel’s Defenders. But recent rumours say that the Marvel- Netflix Team saw some footage of Daredevil season 2 and they Loved Punisher’s character, so they have decided to make a show about punisher , replacing Iron Fist and instead Iron Fist will be made into a 2 hour long movie for television. Punisher is a vigilante who kills any person who he thinks is guilty of a crime. He uses guns and other weapons to murder people.No official confirmation or any other rumour has been announced yet, so there is no confirmation. Jon Bernthal is playing the Punisher in the Daredevil show. The role for Iron Fist has not been casted yet.
So this is the MCU side which you might have missed. Though remember, this is exactly opposite of what you see in marvel movies. But it’s still fun.
